For Children’s Mental Health Week, we invited our team to pause, reflect, and think about one simple but powerful question:
✨ “What advice would you give to your younger self?” ✨
The responses were honest, brave and beautifully human.
They spoke about courage, kindness, self-worth, making mistakes, taking risks, and remembering that you are enough — just as you are.
Some shared encouragement to keep going, even when life feels heavy.
Others wrote about forgiveness, confidence and choosing people who make you feel valued.
Many reminded their younger selves that asking for help doesn’t make you weak — it makes you strong.
These messages came from adults who have lived, learned, and grown.
And today, they offer those same words of comfort to the children and young people we support:
💛 It’s okay not to have everything figured out.
💛 You are worthy of love and respect.
💛 Be kind to yourself — you’re doing your best.
💛 Your future is brighter than you think.
💛 You are stronger than you realise.
Children’s Mental Health Week is a chance to highlight the importance of emotional wellbeing — not just for young people, but for all of us.
We hope these messages remind every child and young person that they are never alone, their feelings matter, and their story is still being written.
Together, we continue to build homes, teams and environments where young people feel safe, supported and believed in — every single day. 💛
