“Our journey of a thousand miles began with one step of positively impacting one life at a time”.

The year 2020 was a challenging year for families, communities, and local authorities.
Covid 19 pandemic devastated and disrupted many lives, no one knew or could have predicted the extent to which lives would be negatively impacted .
For many, fear of death, loss of loved ones, learning to live in isolation with restrictive movements felt like a prisoner confined to one’s own mental and physical walls.
Unfortunately, with limited coping mechanisms and support structure many suffered an array of challenges including mental health breakdown, domestic violence, relationship breakdown.

With uncertainty and continuous negative feed of bad news, May 2020 became one of the most defining months for us.
As a family, we began to form a clear vision of being part of the change we wanted to see, which led to the birth of Kingdom Youth Services (KYS)
Our passion drove us be intentional in putting an end to several sad stories by enabling individuals facing a wide variety of challenging circumstances to lead a more resilient, safe, and thriving life.

Having had strong links with Swindon, we saw some of the challenges young people in particular faced, often experiencing high levels of trauma, neglect, and crisis especially those in Care.
Unfortunately, this often led to multiple placements moves, instability, leaving them feeling unsettled, unsure about the future which triggered behaviours and unhealthy life choices for many.

Kingdom Youth Services (KYS) is a Swindon based supported living placement provider that is dedicated and committed to supporting Individuals to become aspirational about their potential, regardless of the challenges they may face.
We believe that every person is unique and deserves the best opportunity to see their future without limitations.

Our vision is to inspire Individuals to a world of possibilities and prepare them to fulfil their potential.
All individuals deserve the right to be supported and encouraged to explore their potential regardless of perceived hurdles and challenges.

We are committed to delivering Person-Centred Support resulting in higher levels of resilience and ultimately leading to more consistent and compassionate care and support for our individuals.

A core value of KYS is that life can be challenging, and things will & do go wrong, however falling forward is a mind set and getting things wrong is to be seen as an opportunity to learn and grow.

We pride ourselves as a responsive reflective and caring service provider that creates an environment that encourages & promotes safety, emotional well-being, community integration and resilience
