Who We Are

Kingdom Youth Services (KYS) is an up to 24-hour semi-independent living support provider.

KYS inspires Children, and Young Adults to a world of possibilities and prepares them to reach their full potential.

Most Young People who experience high levels of trauma, neglect, and crisis in their early years often results in them experiencing complex challenges.

We provide high quality support in a warm, compassionate, and nurturing environment where the Children feel safe, secure, and most importantly, they feel respected and valued.

The foundations of Kingdom Youth Service supports people to:

  • Make their own choices about their lives
  • Live in a way that promotes their privacy and dignity in their home and life
  • Be part of their own local community
  • Aspire to reach their true potential.
  • Be given the opportunity and support to develop new skills.

Our Ethos

The overriding ethos of our supported living services at KYS is to ‘Develop, Thrive and Flourish’ this is achievable by Doing what’s right, Doing what’s needed, Doing what works’.

This is achieved by actively working together with the Children, families and relevant other professionals to ensure a unified multi-disciplinary team approach so as to achieve the best possible outcomes.

We are committed to ensuring that all staff, visitors, Children, and their families have equal opportunity and freedom from all forms of discrimination.

We believe that everyone has the right be in control of their own lives and be able to make choices about how their support is provided.

We promote choice and independence as much as possible and are committed to providing the highest standard of support to those with whom we work.

We are open and honest and welcome feedback on our service.

We will listen to and work with the Children we support especially their families and professional stakeholders to make any changes, so we get better at what we do.

We will ensure that all that use our service, know about our complaints and compliments procedures.
