Individuals, families and professionals are able to contact us for enquires on current and upcoming vacancies via email or telephone. We request a completed referral form with supporting information such as history, recent reports, up to date assessments and support plans… however, most importantly a reflection of the person themselves and what their aspirations and goals are in life.

Once the information has been received, the management and core support teams meet to discuss how we could best meet the need of the individual, ensuring they are able to flourish and achieve to the best possible level. In addition, we consider the compatibility of other individuals supported by us, to consider the most suited environment for all to thrive in.

After discussions are held and we believe we are able to provide positive person-centred support to the individual, the Registered Manager and Operations Manager arrange to meet with the individual and any loved ones they wish to be involved. The individual chooses the location and venue, where the Registered Manager and Operations Manager will travel to meet in person. The face-to-face meeting allows the individual and loved ones, to ask question, view pictures and information, but most importantly spend meaningful time and have reassurance with the individuals being entrusted with their care and support. Contact details are left to ensure that any unthought of questions are able to be asked directly with quick response.

From here follow up contact and plans are made to provide the transition requested by the individual. This may include additional visits, meeting the core team, visiting the homes through tea visits and being a full part of moving to their potential new home.
